काममया एवायं पुरुष इति. – You are what your deep, driving desire is!
I am privileged to have had Swami Nithyananda Giri as my Guru. He undertook sanyasa in 1963 and dedicated his life to intense spiritual sadhana. He was a disciple of Sadguru Gnanananda Giri Maharaj.
Sadguru Gnanananda Giri, a Himalayan sage chose the northern bank of the river South Pennar near Thirkoilur in Tamil Nadu in southern India as his abode. Sadguru Gananananda Giri was a Mahayogi in the lineage of Jyotir Mutt, the northern spiritual seat established by Sri Adi Sankara Bhagavatpada. Sadguru Gnanananda took Mahasamadhi in 1974. I was guided by him to Swami Nithyananda Giri.
Swami Nithyananda Giri established and organised Gnanananda Niketan to serve the tradition of Brahma Vidya and Atma Vichara. He was instrumental in bringing out several publications in English, Tamil, and Sanskrit. My deeper understanding of Upanishad was nurtured by him, and his guidance was immense in my spiritual growth. The transformation is about how I see myself and the world. Swami Nithyananda Giri took Mahasamadhi in 2023.
My Guru is Swami Nithyananda Giri and Paramaguru is Sadguru Gnanananda Giri.
I am fully dedicated to studying, listening to, and teaching Vedanta. This is living, breathing and meditation for me.
न तत्र सूर्यो भाति न चन्द्रतारकं नेमा विद्युतो भान्ति कुतोऽयमग्निः। तमेव भान्तमनुभाति सर्वं तस्य भासा सर्वमिदं विभाति ॥
The sun does not shine, nor the moon nor the stars. Neither the lightening that shines. The fire too does not shine. That alone shines, and everything else thereafter. They shine by that alone.
Hi I have a question about not going to someone’s house for tamboolam. A person who has hurted me a lot invited me to come to her house to take tamboolam for varalakshmi pooja. I don’t feel like going since i’m so hurt and sad. Is it ok if I don’t go?

External influences should not impact you. Being happy or sad is state of mind. A mind does not have independent existence and resides in your awareness. You should go if you want to.

You may understand as follows. There is a canvas with an elephant painting. Those who see the painting describe the elephant in their own way. There are several individual opinions about the elephant. The opinions are based on individual experience. This is how the world is perceived. The world is perceived by individuals based on one’s own likes and dislikes. This is Pratibhasika sathyam.
However, the elephant painting itself is independent of any opinions. The elephant remains an elephant despite varied descriptions and opinions. This is Vyavaharika Sathyam. This is at the level of Ishvara.
Whereas the painting cannot exist without the canvas. The canvas can exist independent of the painting. This is Paramarthika sathyam. The Paramarthika sathyam is the aadhaaram (foundation) for everything else and remains as the only truth.

SRI MATRE NAMAHA
CAN YOU PLEASE GUIDE MY CURRENT STATE OF UNDERSTANDING TOWARDS HER
ONE THE KEY NOTES I HAVE WRITTEN FOR MYSELF
Gazing at the screen, I behold a figure revered as a guru,
A universal voice whispering straight to me.
It is I, tracing the inward paths of my being,
Receiving the message, clothed in form divine.
This form weaves together cosmic elements, the tattvas,
Like conscious waves rippling through my soul.
When I tune my being, my sacred Om Naad,
To the vibrations of Aa Kara, Uu Kara, Ma Kara,
I blend with them, becoming the tattva itself.
In endless transformations, I am reborn within,
As projection of infinite ripples from Om Naad’s eternal waves of echoes.
These tattvas shift and merge, like stars in my mind’s sky,
Creating patterns in my inner world.
Forming cosmic constellations within my inner consciousness.
Bound to the karmic cycle, each union of tattvas weaves
A web of existence, is mirrored in the gross forms of the world.
With the presence of Aa Kara, Uu Kara, Ma Kara,
Mingled with rajasic, sattvic, tamasic gunas,
My existence unfolds in countless ways.
I am but a Bindu, a singular point of thought,
Woven into the endless web of these energies,
Crafting a boundless web of realities.
As part of this web, I am one with the universe,
Exploring its vastness through the threads of karma.
My path unfolds in Kaal, the river of time,
Where my present forges the future,
And my past lingers as memories.
In this Kaal, my existence is anchored in the now,
Where karmic ripples project as my future present.
I transform, witnessing reality at each fleeting moment,
Driven by Brahma’s rajasic fire, propelling me through time,
Sustained by Vishnu, my conscious past, my inner self.
Yet it is Mahakaal, the eternal present,
The divine fire of transformation blazing in the third eye,
Where Nirgun Nirakaar Mahashiv, the formless witness as SAT,
And Anand Swaroopini Devi dance through veils of Maya’s chit.
Each transformation sends ripples through my inner consciousness,
Shaping my next step, my next breath,
Guided by senses and their objects,
Each indriya alive with jeeva swash and prana swash,Bound to their jeeva atma and pragya atma.
In their union, I am one—a singular Brahman, my eternal now.
I am that bindu in the Om Naad,
In silent Turiya, witnessing my own sacred sound,
Dissolving back into the silence that I am.
My body, a conch with nine portals,
Channels the flow of life’s Naad,
And I, the listener, am shaped by its echoes,
Its responses, its reactions.
Thus, I am all—experiencing myself as the whole,
Tat Tvam Asi—I am That.

It is realisation about the connection with the higher self. When I read, it says about fundamental unity with everything else. When the step Tat Tvam Asi is reached, Aham Brahmasmi is the possibility.

Om Namah Śivāya!
While the Śiva within me doesnt allow my soul to bow down to any other than his Bhairava form, I am blessed to have found HIS essence in your Vijňana Bhairava Tantra teachings.
Your voice and the way you read the stotras resonates something deep within. Eager to learn more.🙏🏼🙏🏼
